Howdy Folks,
July's Bike Nite was fantastic. We raised a total of 466 dollars for Dave "Blue" Kriete with the VFW Riders. I want to personally thank everyone who showed up and supported Dave in his time of need.
The "Best of the Best" Bike show trophy went to one of the Brothers of the Third Wheel. They managed to win by one vote and took home a kick butt trophy.
With sad news, we report a VFW Rider from Benson tragically lost his life early Sunday Morning on interstate 10. According to the Arizona Daily Star Paul McKee ran into the back of a semi truck that was stopped for another accident near the Fort Huachuca exit. McKee died at the scene of the accident. McKee leaves behind a wife and a 7 year old son.
This months High Desert Bike Nite at Nick's Place will be in honor of Paul McKee and his family. Please tell everyone and get the word out. Let's take care of our fellow riders...
